For a period, I became completely infatuated with a particular color of blue that previously only existed in my mind. I mixed endless combinations of colors and got close, but not exact.

After a lot of experimenting and research, I came across a very long standing, very special paint shop in France that also happens to have made the famous Yves Klein Blue (which at the time I was completely unaware of) and even has a Majorelle blue paint (which is the color that started my infatuation). Thanks to this serendipitous find, the color I had been envisioning became a reality. I’m humbled to work with this incredible pigment. It just looks and feels different.

I guess we can call this my “blue period.” ;)
